He retired from Alcoa where he was an electrician for 30 years. He enjoyed fixing “everything,” gardening, and working in his yard.
Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelley Williams, in 2008.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley (Austin) Vaughn; daughter, Jenny (Jeffrey) Miller; son, Bill (Deanne) Vaughn, Jr.; grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Kristen Wilson, Amanda, AJ, and Kyle Wheatman; great-grandchildren, Daimon, Ethan, Peytan, and Kendyl; and niece, Pam Upton.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Mike Claypool, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
