Bruce Allen Miller

Bruce Allen Miller, 74, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020. Bruce was a native of Evansville and graduated from Holy Rosary Catholic School, Reitz Memorial High School, and the University of Evansville. Bruce moved to Chicago, where he met his wife, Carole (Marchisotta) Miller at Edgewater Hospital School of Respiratory Therapy. After graduation, they moved to Newburgh, where they built a beautiful life together with their three children. Bruce began his career at St. Mary's Medical Center and retired after 26 years as the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services. Bruce then started his own business, Barrington Development Group focusing on construction and land development. He later taught his two sons his legacy and got to work alongside them for many years. Bruce was married to his beloved Carole for 51 years. Bruce was very proud of his family and his grandchildren were the light of his life. He will be loved always and survived by his wife Carole, daughter Shannon Wilson (Mike), sons Chris Miller (Brooke), and Aaron Miller (Kate), grandchildren CeCe Miller, Max Miller, Brody Miller, Molly Miller, Blair Miller, and Tyler Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Allen and Mildred (Stevens) Miller, infant son Mark Shaun Miller, and infant granddaughter Grace Wilson. A visitation will be held at Alexander Funeral Home in Newburgh on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private funeral and burial for the family will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.
