Cheryl Ann Robertson

Cheryl Ann (Mackey) Robertson, 61, of Newburgh, went home to her Jesus on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, and was surrounded by her family at time of her passing in her home. She was devout in her faith in God and in her unconditional love for family, friends and her church community. Cheryl’s kindness blessed the lives of many who will miss her humor, wit, smile and example of forgiveness. She likened her love of God to the beauty of this earth and found endless joy and peace in gardening. Cheryl was a loyal employee of Whirlpool and other area businesses and exemplified the value of hard work and dedication to task. Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Allen Robertson; parents, Alice and Willis Mackey; and half-brother, Robert Mackey. Ever grateful for a large family, Cheryl is survived by her step-daughter, Angelo Fuquay (Jason); five grandchildren; sisters, Val Fehd (Alan) and Judy Hall; brothers, Larry Mackey (Sarah), Roger Mackey and Keith Mackey (Barbara); half-brother, Don Mackey (Vickie); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Claypool, with private burial in McCutchanville Cemetery on Monday, March 5, 2018. Friends may visit Sunday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
