David L. Hatchett

He retired after 20 years at Alcoa Warrick Operations where he was Supervisor in the Ingot Department. He had formerly worked at Central Industries for 15 years. David was a member of the Boonville Masonic Lodge and Evansville Scottish Rite. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed always helping his friends in need.

David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn; son, David A. Hatchett (Carrie); daughter, Dana J. Hinton (Daniel); grandchildren, Ben Hatchett, Sam Hatchett, Hank Hinton; brother, Rev. Leon Hatchett (Joyce); sisters, Gayle Vaughn, Nansi Hatchett, Carole Martin; nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett. There will be private family burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday 1-8 pm at the funeral home, where there will be a Masonic Service at 6:00 PM by the Boonville Masonic Lodge.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Chapel Church Food Bank, where David volunteered, 501 W. Lincoln Avenue, Chandler, IN 47610.
