Doyle Bruce Shoulders, 68, of Newburgh passed away surrounded by his wife and daughter at his home on Monday, March 13, 2023. He was born on December 11, 1954 in Newburgh, IN to the late Jack Shoulders and Anna Mae (Adams) Shoulders Chapman.
After graduating from Castle High School, he began working at Mulzer's Crushed Stone. Following that he worked many years at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and retired from Chandler Elementary when he was 62.
Bruce is survived by his wife of nearly 46 years, Kathy L Shoulders (Hickman); daughter, Jamie Shoulders (Joseph Evrard); granddaughters, Rachel and Olivia; brothers, Jack Daniel (JoAnn) Shoulders, Dana Clifford (Pam) Shoulders; and stepbrother, Robert Eugene Chapman.
A funeral service will be held on Monday March 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Newburgh Chapel. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
