

He worked at Ameritech and was a union steward in Gary, IN and was an IBEW member. After retiring in at the age of 53 he started his own business with friends, cleverly named Silver Hair Home Repair. He had several hobbies which included model trains and stained glass. He was a member of the Hobart, IN Art League. Jerry was a big guy with a big heart who loved his family big.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Hulse; wives, Connie Hulse and Jean Hulse, and grandson, Sam Locasto.
He is survived by his children, Mark Hulse (Dawn) and Cindy Perdue (Shayne) granddaughter, Lindsay Locasto, Sisters Dee Larson (Ray) and Loretta Stevenson: and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Conducted by Pastor Fritz Kaufman,with burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
