He was a US Navy veteran, serving from 1959 to 1965.
Jack was a member of Townsend Bible Church. He was a jockey before he worked at Great Scot Supermarket, Lance, and retired from Perfection Hydraulics.
Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandy (Morris) Wilkerson; children, Jack Russell Wilkerson, Jr. (Ronda), Nick Wilkerson, and Joe (Kaebra) Wilkerson; Grandchildren, Jenna Thacker (CJ) and Devan Postin (Michael Rice), Mason, Ryan and Emma; and brother, Bobby (Trudy) Wilkerson; and nephew, Scott Wilkerson.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Ron David and Pastor Mike Ward, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Military Rites will be graveside by Kapperman Post 44. Family and friends may visit 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025 at the funeral home.
