Dear Patty and family,
Jean was a shining light in our circle of new Moms (circa 1960)in the Bridgeport, CT area.  We had what we called "Club" every two weeks and often said we saved thousands of dollars by sharing our problems instead of going to
psychiatrists! 
 She will be missed.

I cannot express my words for the loss of Grandma Jean. It is not very often that your best friend's grandmother treats you like one of their own. I will cherish every moment and all the memories made with Grandma Jean. She was so special to me.

Patty,Jack and family. My sincere sympathy in your loss. Jean was a very special person and always most considerate of others.  She was special to me, in the five decades, she devoted in maintaining contact with my daughters Lynn, Deb and Nancy and in sustaining the memory of their mother Lucille. She was truly their godmother and was special in their lives. We will all be forever grateful.

I'm so thankful I met this wonderful woman and got to spend some time with her. She always made me feel welcome and as if she had known me for years. I can honestly say that every time I spoke with her or visited she was an absolute pleasure to be around. I'm so blessed I got the chance to meet such a wonderful person and to be considered like family to her. You are already missed so much Grandma Jean! I love you!

Cousins Jack,Patty,Larry,David and Kelly, I find it an overwhelming task to put into words what my God Mother "Aunt Jean" meant to me and my sister's. Your Sweet Selfless Mother/Grandmother gave so much of herself to so many, but to three little girls who lost their Mom when we so young,she did her best to help fill a huge void. I could never possibly tell you of all the loving conversations we had,stories of my Mom and yours when they were children together, and young adults, having children close in age, we were all raised more like siblings than cousins. All the warmth of those years will fill me with LOVE forever. My dear Aunt Jean I hope you're up there knowing that you were a hero to your three nieces, and many others. Cousin Patty, Larry, David, and Kelly.  We can always remember the fun times we spent together visititing in each others homes (while growing up) for Hollidays and summers.  Aunt Jean was a strong influence on my faith as it continued to grow through the years.  She would call; and we talked often about family history and she would keep me up to date on all our many relatives.  I will miss her phone calls, visits and encouragement.  We have many great memories to keep in our hearts and to share.  She was a kind and compassionate Aunt and will be missed very much.  Much love to you all.  You are always in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing.  A more pure heart never lived.  She was such a warm and loving woman.  She inspired me to be a better person in life.  I wish the world had more people like her in it.

So very sorry to hear about your mother's passing.  I don't know if you will recognize my name, but my parents are Mr. & Mrs. Bell of Newburgh Healthcare.  Your mother was a dear person and I always enjoyed talking to her when I was strolling the halls with my parents.  She was so nice and polite.  She loved to tell me about the various restaurants she went to with you on her lunch outings.  She also loved talking about her grandchildren; she was so proud of them.  I will miss her beautiful smile!  So sorry for your loss.

So very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother.  I don't know if you will recognize my name, but I am the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bell of Newburgh Healthcare.  I thought your mother was a dear lady and I always enjoyed seeing and talking to her in the halls when I was out strolling with my parents.  She was always so kind and polite.  She was always especially happy when she was going on an outing with you and your family, and she loved to tell me about her grandchildren and what they were up to.  I will really miss seeing her beautiful smile!

If ever there was an angel on earth, Aunt Jean was one. She lived life with an open heart and gave of herself to everyone she met. I will be forever grateful to her for the love she gave to Lynnie Nancy and I after our Mom died. She was always  there for us. Patty and Jack- your Mom was so lucky to have such wonderful kids who loved her and took such great care of her. David and Kelly- your grandma was so very proud of both of you.She bragged of your accomplishments every chance she got.    My dear Aunt Jean- I will miss you so. I hope there is a heaven. If there is I'll bet you and Mom are walking down the street to get an ice cream cone chatting about your families. I love you so much. Debby

This wonderful woman has been a part of my life since I was born. She remained connected with my sisters and I even after the death of my mother, who she was close friends with since they were in kindergarten together.  The connection I have had with her over the years has meant so much to me.  I will miss her so much. Good by, Aunt Jean...If there is a heaven, give my mom a hug for me.  Love always, Nancy
