

He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam years. Jesse worked for Atlas Van Lines and later opened his own business, Suburban Moving and Storage, in Des Moines, IA. He went on to work at Toyota for 20 years.
Jesse was a kind, intelligent, generous man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly, along with the rest of his family and friends. He also loved animals and music.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Mary Williams; daughter, Allison Edwards (Mike); sons, Josh Williams (Jackie), Drew Williams (Amy) and Jake Williams (Jennifer); grandchildren, Maddie Wirth (Rob), Alex Marret (Kat), Creed Bowen, Blythe, Paige and Max Edwards, Jeremiah, Jack, Joel and Jonah Williams, Amelia, Alivia , Aubrey and Abby Williams and Jameson Williams; brother, James Williams and long time friends, Harold and Bonnie Wellmeier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Andrea Bowen and brother, Jeff Williams III.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 24, 2025, officiated by Fr. Claude Burns at the funeral home. Military Rites will be performed by Kapperman Post #44. His final resting place will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Evansville, Indiana.
