Judy was born on April 11, 1945, to Meredith and Marcella Smart.
Judy retired from the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation after 30 years. She was a loving mother. Family was her first priority. She spent many weekends as the pit crew for Harold and the boys as they traveled the country racing motorcycles. She and Harold danced their hearts away many nights square-dancing. For the last 10 years they spent their winters in Florida where they loved to spend time with their many friends they made in their RV resort.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harold Thomas; sons, Steve (Julie) and Andy (Cathie); grandchildren, Lauren (Broc), Paige, Grayson, Emeigh, and Cayman; and great granddaughter, Magnolia.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Alexander Funeral Home Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Claypool, with visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m.
