Larry D. Highland

Larry was a member of the American Legion, Kapperman Post #44 and was a member of the Honor Guard. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #427. He retired from GenCorp after 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Norma V. (Shrodes) Highland.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Highland; step-children, Cherie Craig (Dave Steckler), Nicole Minton (Rick), both of Evansville, and Sean Craig (Heather) of Tonawanda, NY; grandchildren, Cooper, Xavier and Amelia Minton, Alessia and Eliana Craig; brother, Tom Highland (Sandy) of Liberty, MO; and sister, Billie Gist (Gene) of Cape Coral, FL.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Hilbert, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Deaconess Hospice for their loving care of Larry.
