Lonnie Hape

Lonnie Hape, 66, of Gentryville, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013, at The Heart Hospital at Deaconess in Newburgh. He was born March 23, 1947, in Evansville, IN. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Ironworkers Local 103. He enjoyed NASCAR, football and muscle cars. Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Hape. He is survived by his mother, Mabel Hape; wife of 29 years, Cindy; daughter, Deanna McCandless (Darren); son, Darby Hape; brothers, Mike Hape (Mary), Marty Hape (Trena); sisters, Marsha Britt (Kenny), Candace Hape; grandsons, Randy and Erik McCandless; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. Friends may visit 12 PM until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
