Marilyn Sue Cooper

She was a member of the former Oak Hill Presbyterian Church. She retired in 2011 after 21 years at Castle High School where she was the Guidance Secretary.

Marilyn enjoyed traveling, working in her yard, line dancing, laughing with friends, and spending every Sunday with her daughters. She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan, attending numerous sporting events and activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her infant sister, Linda.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lonnie; daughters, Rebecca Gilles (Gary) of Newburgh, Katherine Wilder (William) of Boonville; grandchildren, Zachary Schoen, Mitchell Gilles, Molly Gilles, Ramey Wilder, Reece Wilder; brother, Mac Campbell (Mary) of Vincennes; four step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 6, 2014, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Pastor Tracy Gorman with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville. Friends may visit Sunday, 1-6 PM at the funeral home.
