

She was a previous member of Eastside Christian Church in the 1950’s, where she was involved with Bible Study. In the early 1980's she became a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Newburgh. She was an active member of both. Mary was a wonderful singer. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, riding her bicycle and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice K. Holsapple; grandson, Darrell Leslie, Jr.; sister, Fleda Weller, and son-in-law, Paul Gebhard.
She is survived by her children, William “Bill” Holsapple (Melodie), Marcia Sue Gebhard and Linda Leslie (Darrell, Sr.); grandchildren, Megan McCombs (Chad), Anna Dupont (Chad), Cathie Beard (Mark), Brad Gebhard (Leslie) and Chad Gebhard (Cheryl), and great grandchildren, Henry, Hurley and Heidi McCombs, Alexander, McKinley, Parker and Jerimiah Dupont, Halie Post (Nate), Jakeb and Kelsie Beard, Sydne, Brooklyn, Camber and Cody Gebhard; nieces, Pat Groh and Donna Boston; and nephew, Jim Weller.
A Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2023 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Dan Kennedy, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
