Michael Wayne Wilson

Michael Wayne Wilson, 69, of Newburgh, IN passed away peacefully Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born in Evansville, IN on July 2, 1950 to the late Gladys M. Boles. He retired from Alcoa Warrick Operations after 39 years of service. Mike enjoyed watching WWE wrestling on TV and working hunt-a-word puzzles. He loved spending time with family and especially with his granddaughter, Mariah. Mike was preceded in death by grandparents; mother; father-in-law and mother-in-law; granddaughter, Grace Lauren Wilson; two sisters; one brother; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; two nephews; and one niece. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn; son, Mike Wilson (Shannon); daughter, Leslie Wilson; granddaughter, Mariah Wilson all of Newburgh, IN; brothers, William, Edward, and Kenny Boles; sisters, Nancy Montenegro and Lola Boles; and lots of nephews and nieces of Evansville, IN. The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Harry Harvey, nurse Linda and Staff for their great care and concerns for Michael. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 1:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
