

She graduated from Newburgh High School and was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ, where she attended Sunday School and was a member of the Women’s Guild. Millicent was a fantastic cook, enjoyed her huge garden, flowers and crafting. She was a survivor which made her fiercely independent and ready to take on any challenge.
Millicent was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Ellerbusch; sister, Dorothy Tweedy, and brothers, Orville Grimm and Howard Grimm.
She is survived by her son, David Ellerbusch (Patty); daughter, Mary Bischoff (Tod); grandchildren, Jennifer Moneymaker (Jason), Laura Schnur (Eric) and Andrew Ellerbusch; great grandchildren, Carter, Jude and Millicent Schnur and Beckett Moneymaker; and her nieces, nephews, all whom she loved.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the West Unit at Newburgh Healthcare for their compassionate care.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 7, 2022 at Zion United Church of Christ, 10 W. 1st Street, officiated by Rev. Dan Kennedy, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261 and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
