Rick was loved as a Christian father, husband, son, brother, uncle, Mason, active member of the community and so much more. He spent most of his time with family. He believed it was important to assist others in the community through acts of kindness. This included involvement in One Life church where he was in charge of kids check-in and lighting for services while also meeting the needs of those around him. He enjoyed working as a real estate agent for over 30 years.
If you were a fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats, St. Louis Cardinals, or the Evansville Thunderbolts, you had a friend in Rick. If you weren’t a UK, St. Louis, or Evansville fan, he forgave you and was still a friend.
He was honest and forth right. He will be remembered by those who love him as a man who took care of others. We love you, Rick and we miss you.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela; courageous son, Caleb; precious daughter, Abbie, all of Newburgh; father, Cecil Stephens (Cynthia) of Tennyson; sister, Deah Short (Jeff) of Evansville; brother, Ryan of Evansville; brother, Daniel Morgan of Saint Louis; brother, Jerry Stephens (Becky) of Tennessee; sister, Alvera Yochum (Jim) of Arizona; sister, Chris Stephens of Tell City; sister, Jamie Moore and brother, Paul Moore of Louisville; brother-in-law, Michael Tinsley (Natasha) of Bowling Green, KY; also nieces, nephews, and many friends.
