Robert M. Adcock, 76, of Newburgh, Indiana passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Newburgh Healthcare Center. He was born April 28, 1945 to Robert W. and Burta Wyatt Adcock. Bob was a graduate of Evansville North High School and studied business at Indiana State University - Evansville. He served in the Army National Guard Reserve. He had a successful sales career in the plastics industry before finding his passion in new home construction, starting his own business - Homes by Adcock. He eventually transitioned into being a partner in Barrington Development Group, in which he put his creative stamp on many of Newburgh’s finest subdivisions. Following retirement he worked in the car transport business and was co-owner of Geuss Beauty Supply with his wife. He was strong in his faith, actively attending New Life Church in Evansville. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife of 51 years, Barbara Adcock. He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Gayle Adcock of Newburgh; sons, Brian Adcock and Brent Adcock (Abbey) of Newburgh; daughter, Allison Williames (Troy Sanders) of Murfreesboro, TN; stepdaughter, Alison Holeman of Henderson, KY; brother, Larry Adcock (Shirley) of Newburgh; grandchildren, Asher and Willow Adcock and Logan, Chase, and Makenna Williames, and step grandson Jacob Holeman. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Alexander Funeral Home - Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jeff Harford, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday, June 21 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. or Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
