

Robert E. Conapinski, 75, of Newburgh, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026. He was born on June 30, 1950, in Ashland, Pennsylvania, to the late Bernard and Mary (Holowaty) Conapinski. Though he resided in Newburgh, he always considered Pennsylvania his home.
Robert was a general contractor for more than 50 years and proudly owned and operated his own business. He had a special passion for designing kitchens, which he considered his favorite part of the work. He retired briefly and then worked at Kitchen Gallery for the past 3 years. Robert enjoyed cooking (hosting pizza night every Thursday and family dinners on Saturdays), art, and, most of all, spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita M. Conapinski in 2020 and grandson, Ethan Tarter in 2011..
Robert is survived by his children, Kelly Conapinski, Kyle Conapinski (Megan) and Kelsie Tarter (Jimmy); grandchildren, Jonathan Kelly, Reagan Kelly, Peyton Guerzini, Anthony Conapinski, Andrew Conapinski, Ainsley Taylor, Eli Tarter, Ellie Tarter, Jackson Taylor and Cash Ailstock, and sister, Carol Semanchick (Michael) of Blandon, PA.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Bill Altman, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends may visit 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday. February 4, 2026 and Thursday 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
