Alva Williams, age 74, of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Ronald D. Williams; loving mother of Lloyd (Tracy) Kimber and Christine (Derrick) Steele; cherished grandmother and great grandmother to many; dear sister of Victor Kimber; fond aunt, cousin and friend to many. Alva's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Christine and Sylvester Kimber, her son Charles F. Kimber and four brothers and two sisters.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois, 60453. A wake/prepast will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at Liberty Baptist Church, 4849 S. King Drive, Chicago, IL followed by the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
