Areanah has been in my memory ever since her unexpected transition to heavenly realm. My deep console is that YHWH needed her and his angels has been mitigating her sudden shut down from earthly ground but at the same time her memory is alive and carry on from one teenager to another whose connection with mom hadn't been  so pleasing to God and here Areanah comes to reveal to the public eye what made her so Phenomenal and unforgettable to mom's heart and all her aunties she left at workplace and now taking care of each one of them like a gorgeous mom would be, and I'm most than sure they feel her on daily shift, and the angels of God says amen&amen

Today, June 7 is my birthday too. Don't know you personally.  I live in Dallas TX.  I also attend Friendship West.  Trinity UMC is one of my pastors mentors church.  We know you gave her 6 stars memorial.  Just watched.  

Found this out when I searched to see others that shared my birthday too.  One was my favorite artist Prince.  The other one was this star of a beautiful black bold soul sister.  

As I sit here thinking. Crying!  Then I thank God! Why?

For Aréanah legacy and courage throughout her 24 years on earth.  She is an angel now.  Watching over her family & friends.  She is not gone - but sitting around the throne singing "Holy Holy Holy"!

Dearest family of Areanah, I am the daughter of a retired Chicago Police Officer. My Dad had been Commander of Area 1 when he retired in 1993. I grew up on the south side of Chicago and graduated from Loyola University School of Law in 1992. My son is the same age as Areanah. Watching the beautiful celebration of her life made me sad but also made me so proud of her and your entire family. It is obvious that she was a special Chicago police officer and person and a phenomenal woman as the Pastor emphasized in his eulogy. I just wanted you to know that you have my deepest condolences during this unimaginably difficult time. I know words can’t make it better but I hope you will find some peace knowing that Areanah touched the lives of so many people during her much too short life. My dad passed away this past September and I prayed to him today that he look after Areanah as they are police family and now together in heaven. I hope your wonderful memories of her provide you some peace. Even though I didn’t know her personally, she will always hold a special place in my heart.

I do not know Are’anah or your family. I am simply a citizen who was born and raised here and am so saddened by the tragic loss you have suffered. I watched her Celebration of Life and know for sure we have lost an amazing soul. I know while Are’anah was here on earth she did the Lord’s work and I am sure he has welcomed her home with the words…Well done good and Faithful servant. I did not have the opportunity to know Officer Preston but I am deeply saddened for her untimely and senseless death . She is definitely an american hero. I to was in law enforcement and a Reserve Deputy for 20 yr's with the Victoria County Sheriff's office in South Texas.

He too was a proud alum of University of Ill ., Champaign . The four of us children all attended StAilbe, so we’re neighbors ! Remember, all us Loyola Family will continuously pray for strength for you all until justice is served, and then forever  after this  Court case has been resolved! One day @ a time !
