Danny was a man who firmly believed that actions spoke louder than words. As such, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. until he was honorably discharged on July 17th of 1984.
He later went on to work for the United States Postal Service and remained in their employ for 40 years. During that time, he was a conscientious, and reliable employee.
Danny loved physical fitness and sports. His diligence about healthy living led to him creating a home gym that awed those who saw it. He put it to good use, maintaining an exercise regime that could rival any bodybuilders. Danny did not limit his love of a healthy lifestyle to weights. He was an avid bowler in several leagues and could be spotted in any number of bowling alleys around Chicago on the weekends. His dedication to the craft led to him accomplishing a rare feat for an amateur bowler-a perfect 300 game. Danny also enjoyed sports as a spectator, rooting for his hometown teams, the Chicago Bears and White Sox.
Danny was a huge movie buff. The number of movies that he owned were immeasurable. He was known for showing up at family functions armed with movies to watch, happy to share his love of cinema and humorous movie quotes. Danny will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
