

Dionna was the beloved mother of Diego Koval, and a loving daughter to John and Norma Rodriguez. She was the dear sister of Jason (Yesenia) Rodriguez and Jacob (Lorena Gonzalez) Rodriguez, and a beloved aunt to Trevino, Aaron, Jalen, Jada, and Vincent. Her warmth and generosity touched many other relatives and friends, who join in mourning her passing.
As the founder and creator of the Nana's Tatas Foundation, Dionna poured her heart into raising awareness, support, and education for Hispanic women. Her tireless advocacy reflected her compassion and commitment to empowering others through her journey.
A proud alumna of Maria High School (Class of 1989), Dionna later earned her BA in Business Administration with a focus on health admin from Robert Morris College. She built a successful career as a Senior Representative for UnitedHealthcare.
Dionna was more than a professional—she was a devoted, loving mom who cherished every moment with her son, Diego. She also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including her love for playing softball, where her competitive spirit and team camaraderie shone through.
Her legacy is one of resilience, generosity, and unwavering love. Dionna’s memory will continue to inspire through her family, her foundation, and the countless lives she reached with her compassion.
A visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed with a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, IL. Interment Private.
