Grandma you loved me in a way like no other person did. I will miss you here on earth, but like always,  I know you’ll be looking out for me. ❤️

The sweetest woman here! I remember her daughter, Tracy, shared with me that her mother was a seamstress and to come to her if I needed anything. That day sure came one day when I was nervous about a bridesmaid dress that I had that was strapless and kept falling. Ms. Eleanor helped me at the last minute to make this special day memorable. She was there to help and assist when she didn’t have to because that’s just the kind of person she was! She is now in a much better place getting the other angels fitted for their wings!🧵🪡👼🏽👼🏻👼🏾👼🏿

Eleanor "Sippy" lives in our heart. She's with her other loved ones in heaven.

You were definitely a beautiful flower that graced this world with your beauty, grace, and wisdom. My Piscean (day before ) twin, March 11th and March 12th sisters. Rest In Peace Mrs. Brown.  I treasure the memories of growing up with your children and your always pleasant, calm, approachable demeanor. Thank you for always being kind and welcoming to me. You're truly one of a kind.

I am So thankfully to have had a grandmother as wonderful and amazing as you. Your legacy will live on through all of us 💕. There was nothing we couldn’t call you for, or ask for help with. You could do it all. You have instilled your strength, wisdom, and love everyone who has known you. I could go on, but I will just say I love you lady, and I miss you grandma! Thank you for everything. 

Though a family member, I didn't grow up with you all nor meet your family until I was grown.  I must say that  I have often felt saddened about that missed time!  Cousin Sippy always made me feel welcomed and like she had known me my entire life.  Such a beautiful spirit, so loving, and those seeds were passed on to her children and grands. Cousin Sippy will be truly missed.  I thank God for her presence in my life.

Although you are no longer with us physically, your legacy lives on through the lives you’ve touched. Thank you for all the laughs, advice, assistance and love you’ve given along the years. You did it all with style and grace. Love you grandma 🤍

Met her at Immanuel Lutheran Church,  she was a friend of my sister, Jewel Sims who also was a member. 

27 I love yous.  That's what we had from April till May. 27 conversation that ended with “ I love you. Talk to you soon.”  20 Facetime sessions and 6 phone calls and a face to face visit. Of course there were many other times we said those words but these last 27 are the ones I'll never forget 💛💛💛

Always the life of the party and the center of our world, I hope that rubbed off on me.

This is the third time I’ve started this message over. Why? Because it still doesn’t seem real, and I can’t find the right words to express how it feels to know I’ll only see you in pictures and my dreams. I’m grateful for all of the memories and the time that we’ve shared. From being picked up from school, to paint stick and purse strap whippings. From race car video games, to our first and last dance battle. It’s an honor to know that no matter who you came in contact with, you were loved. You were everyone’s grandma and will be missed more than you could’ve ever imagined. I honestly think that because of you I was forced to grow into a better person, and that’s the best gift you could’ve given me.  💛



Grandma, Chloe can't sit, stay or roll over but if I said lets go see GG, she was at the car with her Sunday best on. Wonder woman everyone and creature knew you were special.

Aunt Sippy was definitely a beautiful person inside and out. Heaven has gained another angel. 

Thank you mom for giving the greatest examples of what it means to be a good mom and grand mom, I can only hope that I set the same example for my kids and grandkids ❤️

I will never be able to fully put into words all of what you mean but I will say that… Grandma you were and will forever be our Queen. You were the epitome of what a wonderful, loving, caring wife, sister, aunt, friend, mother, and grandmother should be, thank you for leaving such a beautiful, wonderful legacy. You would always end our calls with I love you but I would always say I love you more… so now as you rest peacefully, for now I will say I miss you more and love you always. 💛

Those we love don't go away.   They walk beside  us everyday.
Unseen, unheard, but always near.  So loved, so missed, so very dear.  Let's recognize that the mom, grandma, bonus mom, cousin, sister, auntie, friend, neighbor, confidant or whatever she was to you will always be with us, as long as we keep her spirit, teachings, patience and love alive in us. So, the family gatherings must continue and she'll be there in every story we tell, every laugh we giggle and every hug we share.

Family, I'm so very sorry for your loss.  Ms. Brown was a gem with a kind and welcoming heart. When Candice brought me home as her friend back in grade school Ms. Brown welcomed me.  I gained another mom (and several siblings) that treated me and scolded me like her own.  I'm not sure if she allowed me to spend almost every weekend at her house because she loved "ME" so much or because I kept Candice occupied.  Nonetheless, I watched her effectively love and support all her kids (and the stray friends they brought home).  I will always be grateful for the matching shorts she made for me and Candice for the family reunion, every hot dog I consumed at her house, every hug, and nugget of advice she gave me knowingly and unknowingly.  You will be missed.  I pray the Lord comforts each of you.  May the memories we all have created give us peace.  Love you all!

I'm sorry to hear of your passing but was grateful for you stepping up nd being a surrogate Grandmother for my children after their Mother passed away. You will always be an Angel in my eyes.
