Emily Mary Brozny

Emily Mary Brozny, age 97, passed away on Friday, July 21st, 2023. She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda (James) Marrello; cherished grandchildren: Nicole Lechowicz and Rory (Karen) Marrello; beloved great grandchildren: Christopher, Bryce, Dakota, Jenna, Merrick, Reece, Graham and Kaia; dear sister, Virginia (late John) Cizek.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Brozny and daughter, Diane Brozny.

Emily proudly served her country in the United States Army where she was stationed in Florida and Maine specializing in the care of burn unit soldiers. Emily loved to knit, crochet, sew and quilt. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and tending to her beautiful gardens. Emily will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends and family will gather for a funeral services that will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 with visitation from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois with a chapel service at 6:00 P.M., Rev. Ryan Brady officiating. Private Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
