I recently found out about this wonderful doctor's passing, I was a patient of Dr. Kolenda for over 20 years.

To the family, "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal". Keeping the entire family in my daily prayers. May God bless and keep you all.

I often ran ito Gene at his favotite lottery store asking why he was buying ticktes? Most the time he had the same answer ...
"I have a great wife, I have a great daughter, so now I'm playing for the trifecta" As much as we provided some embarraising moments 8th grade (Toaga's)the objetive was a smile on every/everyday. He and Mom both this well, which provided the sunshine for ever on you face. The consumate gentle family man and dear friend will remian in our best memeries'

A great man with a great sence of humor and a GREAT heart bigger then his body. Thank you Gene for all the love and support you shared with everyone! God Bless Barb and Julie and the family. Know that he is always with you every day in God's loving embrace.

I wish I could tell a joke right now lighten the mood, I know Gene would. I will miss his friendship and humor. I owe him so much for all of the memories and I shall repay him by attempting to remember them all. Your friends and family will see you both through this.

Man, "getting old sucks!"  And Gene would have a joke for that!  He would always make you smile and laugh.  We'll all miss the "gentle giant!"  
A former neighbor, he also helped our family with "emergency" Chiropractic adjustments.  The first time he wrapped that towel around my neck, I thought he was going to spin my head off like a top!
Thanks for all the laughs Gener, the joke's on us!

We dont even know where to begin telling you just how much fun we had with Gene. He will be missed so much by all who ever called him friend, buddy, fellow thespian, dad, poppa or husband. Gene, we will watch over your girls just as you did for so many years. Rest....you earned it! We love you and will see you again one day...till then..watch us from the best theatre .

Mrs. Kolenda & Julie - I am SO sorry to hear about Dr. K.  I have fond memories of hanging out at your place, visiting the clinic (just because we could), knowing which car was yours by BACKPAY, and watching the parade from your awesome view.  He was great to us kids and I can only imagine the grandfather he was to Trevor and Evan.  I know you will be comforted by many friends and family.
