

Francisco was the beloved husband of 75 years to Celia R. Coronado, his loving partner and best friend. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a proud father to Christina Perez, Francisco Coronado, Jr., Raymond Coronado and Jim Coronado. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Lerma Coronado, and his grandson, Bruce Valdez, Jr. Francisco was also a devoted father-in-law to Nancy Coronado, whose love and care for him were deeply appreciated. A proud grandfather, Francisco's legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Jessica (Christopher Castro) Perez, Mario Perez, Jr., Joshua Perez, Julian Coronado, and Brandon Coronado. He also had the distinct honor of being a great-grandfather to Araceli Perez, Sophia Perez, Dylan Perez, Colton Castro, Diego Castro, and Auron Perez. Dear twin sister to Florinda "Flo" Coronado. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he took great joy in spending time with them, often entertaining them with his stories, his infectious laughter, and his boundless warmth.
Born to the late Luz (Garcia Coronado) and Trinidad Coronado, Sr., Francisco. Also preceded in death by his brothers Trinidad, Jr., Edward, Art, Ray and sister Eleanor. Francisco was part of a close-knit and loving family, and he always carried the values of hard work, dedication, and deep family loyalty throughout his life. As an uncle, Francisco was known for his kindness, generosity, and his ever-present smile. His nieces and nephews fondly remember the love and care he shared with them. Francisco loved life to its fullest. Whether at family gatherings, traveling the world, or sharing stories of his adventures, he was always happy and at peace when surrounded by his loved ones. His sense of humor and infectious laugh could light up any room, and he was known for being the life of the party. His love for his family, his work ethic, and his dedication to providing for them will never be forgotten. Though Francisco has left this world, his spirit and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will be cherished, his laughter missed, and his legacy honored by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to have known him. Rest in peace, Francisco. You were deeply loved and will be forever missed.
A visitation for Francisco will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. A morning gathering will occur Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel, 7740 S Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60620. An interment will occur Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at St Mary Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleums, 87th Street & Hamlin Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
