She spent her life enjoying her family and friends, game nights with her closest family members, Vegas vacations with her two daughters, bingo, scratch offs and lottos, dancing, music (especially Kenny Rogers), and ice cream (strawberry in particular). She will be remembered most for her caring, feisty, and sassy charisma.
A visitation for Gertrude will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 14,11:30 AM at Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church, 10836 S. Oxford Ave., Chicago Ridge. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
