John F. Karlic, 90 years, Air Force Veteran, of Palos Hills, IL, passed away on September 24, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Louise K. (nee Johnson) and the late Jeanette (nee DeSantis). Loving father of Jeanette “Tammy”, John K. (Christina), Rick and Joy (Shawn) Casperson. Proud grandfather of Chasity (Tristan) Babl, Christy (Jon) Knor, John J. Karlic, Tony Nielsen, Brent and Brandon Casperson; great grandfather to Caleb, Aubrin and Breckan Babl; dear brother of the late Marilyn (Fred ) Fanter and the late Robert G. Karlic; fond brother –in-law and uncle to many.
John worked as a Lineman and Draftsman for Excelon/ComEd and retired after 35 years of service. John also spent many of his young adult years as a wedding photographer.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 10:00am at. Sacred Heart Church in Palos Hills, IL. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
