To the man who gave me his name. To the man who taught me how to fight. The man who instilled his work ethic in everyone of his children, we are who we are today because of him. The man who loved so many of us, his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews. To the man who loved my mom so much that when she couldn't do for herself he did for her. While my mother was suffering from a failing heart herself, he would not let her give up. To the man who traveled so many miles in his life. Finally, to "POPS" I LOVE YOU, and will always carry you with me. Thanks DAD.

My dearest Tio Meño.  What the passing of time has brought us.  I am so sorry that we did not see much of each other in the recent years.   God has taken you from us and in the end all we have are the wonderful memories of a beautiful childhood with summers spent with you and auntie Pat and the kids.  The memories that are eternally embedded in my mind are priceless and I will cherish them forever.  Thank you for the times you came to my defense either with issues at home or problems I was having in school.  Wow, we did not know what camping was until you gave us that experience.  My sister and I  talk about those days even as adults.  Thank you for allowing me to spend my freshman year living with you and your family.   I am externally grateful.  Thank you for being a wonderful uncle!    I love you, Sylvia

maybe it was coincidence,the fact that we lost are father 14 years exactly from the day we lost our mother,or the fact that my father died in room 4012 and my mothers birthday was 4/12,maybe it wasn't,either way we believe mom was in the room with my dad the whole time,especially that morning when his heart just wasn't strong enough to keep fighting,holding his hand and telling him to not be afraid,it was his time to make that final journey and spend his eternal life with her...pops was a strong man,he taught us to have no fear,to never give up,and no matter what FAMILY always comes first,i will always hold you close to my heart pop's,i will make sure my kids grow up knowing how great of a man grandpa from mexico was,i know you and ma our watching over all of us now,till we meet again ol'man,thank you for making me who i am and raising all of us brothers and sisters to be so tight...i love you forever

Johnny,Sandy,Lisa,Jamie,Rose & Mary- May God be with you all and may you find comfort through  the great memories of the time you were blessed to have your daddy here. He was an amazing man. We are both blessed for having known you all. I hope that you find some joy in knowing that he is with your Momma now looking down on you all and very proud of what you have accomplished and become.
