Hi weekly call PA  and as usual its Memorial Day and I have to say thanks Dad., for serving our country,and thanks to all my cousins and Uncles who served as well, Thanks, M.Y. Pa

Thank You to all our cousins Uncle Charlie,Aunt Doris and Aunt Corey, Aunt Marilyn, your paying tribute to Dad meant a lot, by the way Dad thanks I did see the cardinal this morning, I know it was you,he was chipper and annoying the squirrels up in the tree,go Pa!

Miss you Pa, this is my weekly phone call,,hey give Ma and Lady, Mandy and Racey all a hug! hey now ypu can get real fuzzy!

What an amazing man. Everyone that knew him was blessed by his love. His family and friends will hold the wonderful memories close at hand.Great Uncle Norman you will never be forgotton. The photos made me cry like a baby... what a beautiful family. The photos help us to understand why the great Lord brought you into the world. May you find peace and happiness in Heaven.

Dear Cousins,
    As I said at the funeral I have a few memories to share with you.
  
    I remember your mom and dad before they were married when they were dating.  They would come over to our house to spend some time alone together and we were forbidden to go into the living room where they were sitting on the couch.  I don't know how I can picture them cuddling and kissing and acting silly but I must have peeked in.

    I also remember their wedding.  It was the first that I ever went to and I remember running around and dancing and falling on the floor.  Of course, I was with my brother, Lance, and cousin, Mel, so I had the time of my life.  I think I was about six.

     I also remember the weekly coffee klatches with Aunt Matilda, Aunt Em and Aunt Dorothy.  When Ron Stromberg was married to her, Ann would also be there.  I think they met on Wednesdays and I was always welcome to come over after school and join in.  Of course, my main objective was to get a cream puff from Sckooly's bakery.

     Your mom was always friendly and welcoming any time that I saw her.  I'm sorry she had to die so young.

     Your gramma made the best brownies that I have ever had in my life.  They were always a very special treat and I savored every bite.  If anyone has the recipe please send it to me.  Then my life would be complete.

     My sad memory is when Pam was probably about one year old.  I used to come over and take her for a walk in her stroller.  One day I had her in the stroller and was on the front porch turning to shut the front door and the stroller and Pam rolled off the porch, down the stairs and onto the sidewalk.  I was devastated.  I ran up to get help, she had a bloody mouth but otherwise was okay, and your mom came down to get her.  Aunt Dorothy was very forgiving and kind to me but I felt ashamed for many years afterwards.  I don't think I ever took her for a walk again after that.

    I also remember that you all went over to your grandfather's and got your hair cut.  I have no idea why he thought he could cut hair because he would take each darling little girl and cut her hair as if he had put a bowl on her head.  My mom and I were alsways puzzled about this.

     Being with all of you brought back many memories of all of our lives in Roseland.  It was great to see all of you and your families.
