

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pauline Reicher of Chicago, Illinois, who peacefully departed this life on November 25, 2025, at the age of 101.
Born on January 5, 1924, Pauline was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Koller. She dedicated her life to family and faith — values she carried with grace, kindness, and humility.
Pauline was the beloved wife of the late Felix. She was a proud and loving mother to her children — the late Joseph (Denise) and Phillip (Maureen). Her warmth, generosity, and love shaped the lives of her children and all who knew her.
She was a proud grandmother to Michael (Amy) Reicher, David (Erin) Reicher, Claire (Andrea) Boeing-Reicher, Katie (Ryan) De Prosperis, Carrie (Dave) Assell, Kat (Karl) Holzer, and Dan (Suzanne) Reicher — and a cherished great-grandmother to Andrew, Tim, Emily, Matt, Lauren, Grace, Ben, Penny, Evelyn, Josh, and Felix. Pauline took immense joy in watching her family grow and thrive.
Deeply rooted in faith, Pauline was among the original founders of Queen of Martyrs Parish in Evergreen Park. She remained actively involved in parish life even into her 90s, offering her time and spirit to community events, friends, and neighbors. Her commitment to faith and community touched countless lives.
Pauline will be remembered for her spirit, steadfast love for family, and her unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on December 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Martyrs Church, St. Gianna Parish, 10233 S. Central Park Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Immediately following the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment to St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
