Richie was always one of my favorites of my brother's friends.  He didn't ignore me because I was younger or think I was a pest.  So, with that being said, in 2012, when I first learned how to facetime, I saw Richie was online and didn't think twice to try to contact him.   My mom and I had a wonderful chat with him and we giggled the whole time.  Richie was just one of those people who were "real" and if you were lucky enough to be his friend, you were his friend for life.  My deepest sympathy to the entire Biehl family.  Please know you pain is shared by so many.  God bless you all.

Richard was one of my school mates, from grade school on up, I moved from the area and lost touch, I did catch up with him at a high school reunion and was surprised and happy to see him . Saw him at our little get togethers when i was in town. I now live in washington state but i am in southern Illinois, we use to get in so much trouble in school, many times we spent in the hallway on time out. Him and his wife's passing has really affected me. I sure hope I can make it,the last time I saw him he was all excited about retiring, try to sell him my lake house, but he loved his family and would not move away,  I would do anything to do another shot of limoncello with him. I still remember him as a kid, he really grew up and turned into a decent and respectable man with more friends than anyone could imagine. Richard and Susan you will be missed.

& they were young at heart.
They had the gift of making others feel comfortable, just by being themselves!  What a gift!

Rich stood up to our wedding, was a stand-up guy, neighbor &
co-worker.

Im Jahiem The grandchild of both Richard and Susan a Memory I Have With My Grandma Is When Me And My Grandma Was At Walmart And She Was Riding The Little Scooter Thing Because She Had A Hard Time Walking. So We Was In Walmart And We Getting Groceries And Stuff And She Got A Case Of Pepsi And She Told Me Put Them Under Her Feet Because They Wouldn’t Fit In the Little Basket, So We Got To The Check Out Line And They Didn’t Ring up The Case Of Pops. So We Got To The Car And I’m Loading The Trunk And She Called My Name She Said Jahiem, I Said Yea And She Said Look Down At My Feet So I Looked Down At Her Feet And Said What’s Wrong With Them And She Said The Case Of Pops And I Said What About Them She Said They Didn’t Ring Them Up 😂 So I Said Ooooouuuuuu Uu Stealliinnngggg And She Snacked Her Forehead And Said I Never Done THIS before I Never Stole A Day In My Life And I Just Sat there And Laughed At Her And She Said Well It Isn’t My fault They Didn’t Look😭.  And My Grandfather Just Made Sure I Was Always Good. He Always Gave Me A Bag Full of Food And Other Things To Take With Me Home So He Can Make Sure I Eat, He Always Made Sure I had What I Needed Before I Left His Sight, He Was Just the Type Of Person To Always Make Sure Everybody Was Good And Had Everything They Needed Cause He Was A Living And Caring Person. I’m Going To Miss Both Of Them So Much And Im Gone Always Love Them.
