 Condolences to the Thoren family. The few times I got to talk to Yaya (about the "Joys" of raising daughters) were always enlightning. My prayers and thoughts go out to the whole family. Including some of my favorite Bartenders ever.

Thoren Family, I met YaYa some time ago and from the first laugh until the last time I saw him, he treated me like I was in "the" crowd for a long time...he had a way of making me laugh from deep inside and real laughter.  He brought smiles to so many and I know I will miss his.  He really touched me.  My heartfelt condolences.

Thankyou so much YaYa for all the laughs, and all the good times you were a great friend and you will truly missed by many. May you RIP.

Just a short note....I remember Richie from the old neighborhood on the southwestside of chicago..he was best friends with my brother Tom Zahara( Tom passed away in 2001.).please except my condolences.

Well let me first say to the Thoren family that I am so sorry for your loss...but please know how much Yaya was loved but so many of us. He was one of a kind and made me laugh harder and harder each time I saw him. We shared so many fun stories and serious conversations as well. Many rides together, and many fun memories. He will be so dearly missed. The world wont be the same without him.  RIP Yaya.......

I am so sorry the hear about Rich. He was my FTO (Field Training Officer) when I started in 1990. I will always remember the first several weeks on the job riding with my first partner. He was such an easy going guy and made the job fun and interesting. He will be missed.      Chuck Palka
