Robert "RJ" John Louis Gaba

Robert John Louis Gaba, age 30, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Robert was born on April 14, 1994 to his parents Victoria Bower and the late Robert Gaba, step-father Albert Bower; Cherished grandson of Dorothy Tucker and the late Gene Gasparas, Bonnie Jahnke, Sheri and David Ickes; Loving nephew of Dana (Victor) Rodriguez, Nicolas (the late Melanie) Gasparas, Jeremy (Trisha) Jahnke, and great-uncle Bud Gasparas; dear cousin of Samuel, Alexis, Marissa, Charlotte, Justin, Ellie, and Charles. Devoted dog dad of Zora.

Robert served his community working as an EMT for Elite Ambulance Service and a Firefighter for the city of Ford Heights. Robert previously worked as a Firefighter for Garden Homes. Robert was a die hard Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Motorsports fan, he loved I-Racing, model building including Lego and playing golf.

A visitation for Robert will be held on Monday January 13, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn. A First Responder Walk through Fire/Police/EMS will begin at 7:00pm. A chapel funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 14, 2025 beginning at 10:30 am at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made to them so they can distribute to various organizations.
