Bob & I met in 1979 & went through apprentice school together.  We worked countless hours at Evanston Hospital. We always got along & enjoyed each other's humor.  I'll always remember our breakfast conversations & the videos he sent me . Will miss you my friend!!!

Bob was a great neighbor!  I enjoyed talking to him over the fence many days and nights.  He loved working in his yard and made a beautiful home.  I'll miss him.   See you on the other side, Bob!

I met Tuxford back in 1993 at Evanston Hospital he quickly became a friend/buddy. He was there during our sewer collapse to guide us, he taught us about sump pump install which we no longer want to deal with and many other plumbing guidance even over the phone! I am grateful we kept in touch and for our friendship. Sharing stories about our grandkids. He loved his family so much!!! We love you Tuxford rest in peace my friend. Maria & Pablo Martinez

Bob will forever be remembered with a smile on his face playing in the water with his grandbabies.  Such a kind and loving soul, he will be missed.  Our sincere condolences to the whole family.

I worked with Bob at Evanston Hospital for several years and gotta say he was one of the nicest guys I ever worked with. He always had a smile on his face and good sense of humor…My condolences to his family.. As Billy Joel sings it…

With heavy heart I will mis Bob forever. He was a friend with a sense of humor you had to love. Of coarse I did. We had may good conversations and good times at the lake   I will always remember our impromptu conversations never getting off our golf carts. I will mis you forever my friend.

This man right here. He was the most reliable person I have ever known. He really truly cared about everything. I’m proud that I was not able to be his son. But that I was able to work side by side with him for many years as a plumber. Seeing how respected he is by everyone just really proves of how great he was. There is nothing in this world that will ever be able to fill those shoes that he left empty.

Bob worked with me and my Facility team at Evanston Hospital for several years. We worked on several projects and it was always a pleasure working with Bob. Bob and I had a a couple things in common as we were the same age and retired around the same time. I'm sorry for the loss of a friend. God Bless!

Bob was one of many plumbers who taught me the honorable toil, but his advice and mentorship extended far beyond the trade.  He was my work dad.  He was my trusted friend.   The countless hours spent in the trenches were more than matched with goofing and laughing.  We often "talked each other home" after a long day, sharing funny stories, seeking advice from each other, or just venting frustrations.    He was on the very short list of people that could call or be called for anything.    His sudden passing is devastating.   I will miss him greatly.

So many memories of you. Meeting and becoming friends freshman year in HS, you having iced over glasses in the winter when we walked to school, sitting in your Plymouth Fury in front of DDE before classes senior year listening to Steve Martin, hanging out at Bass Lake, late night beers at the bar when I came home for Christmas break from SIU, and finally standing up in each others weddings as we entered a new phase of life.

Bob you were always one of the nicest, most sincere people that I have had the pleasure to know. Thanks for your friendship and my deepest condolences to Sue and your family. Rest in peace my brother until we meet again. Love ya!

Bob was like a brother to me. I worked with him for 24 years and there were two things I said to him every day. “There is my favorite plumber” and “Everyone loves the plumber”. The reason being is that everyone went to Bob for advice about their problems. I once asked him if they issued him a counselors license when he got his plumbers license. Bob was the type of person that cared about everyone. I will forever miss him.

I remember spending time with Bob and Susan at the cottage by Bass Lake, where they planned to ride around on 3 wheel motorcycles in their golden years. I always looked forward to seeing that. Bob will be missed.

I’m so happy we had these reunions-we would all get together for dinner and just talk and take photos. It was really great spending time with Sue and Bob as it had been awhile. In 2022 we went to the cottage at Bass Lake and had so much fun! I will miss you Bob and my heart goes out to his family.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Bobby's passing.  My family and I are praying for the  strength his family will need in the days ahead to cope with the lose they feel.  Bobby was such a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him
