Thomas F. O’Hara, retired CFD, age 85, of Chicago, passed away at his home while surrounded by family on April 25, 2022. Loving husband of Lenore Joyce O’Hara and the late La Verne O’Hara, nee Smith; Beloved father of Maureen (Jack, retired CFD) O’Rourke, the late Thomas O’Hara, Jr., Kevin (Ann) O’Hara, CFD, Susan (Bob) Patton, and Sharyn (Dan, CFD) Byrne; Cherished grandfather of Jim (Tamara), Jack (Carly), Eryn (Jack), Jacqueline (Joe), Elizabeth, Kevin, Emily, Brendan, Will, Kiara, Makayla, and Teagan; Great-grandfather of eleven; Dear brother of Mary (the late Harry) Berge, James (Elsie), and the late Jack (the late Agnes); Uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Visitation for Tom will be from 3-8 PM on Thursday, April 28, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn. Funeral to begin at 10:15 AM on Friday, April 29, at Blake-Lamb, proceeding to St. Linus Church, 10300 Lawler Ave, Oak Lawn, for an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment private.
