Wayne Wnek, age 72, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, April 6. Truly beloved husband of Barbara Aubel, loving father to Michael (Sara) Wnek and Aubrie (Michael) Frazier, and proud grandfather to baby Noah Denver Frazier. Dear step-father to Isabel and Alexander Shaindlin and fond uncle and great uncle to Jennifer Krause, Brian (Libby) Krause, Emilia and Harry Krause.
Wayne held a Life Membership (40+ yrs) with the Chicago Appraisal Institute, earning his prestigious MAI designation in 1999. He was a trusted mentor and teacher to many in the appraisal business.
An avid Cubs fan and a favorite Stevenson H.S. Girls Volleyball dad, Wayne enjoyed all things Chicago and New Mexico.
Wayne also leaves behind many cherished life-long friends, cousins and colleagues.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Emilia (nee Mierzwicki) and sister Jacqueline (Harry) Krause.
