He is preceded in death by his parents, Gorgonio Cabrera and Catalina Perez.
He is survived by his wife, Jovita Tovar, daughters, Leticia Cabrera, Rosa Maria Cabrera, Irma Cabrera, and Maria Guadalupe Cabrera, and sons, Jose Luis Cabrera and Alejandro Cabrera.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 4-8 pm at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside, California.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 10:00 am at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Carlsbad, California.
Arrangements are under the direction of Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Mortuary and Crematory in Oceanside, CA.
