

Anne A. Long (Olzeski) born July 19 1928 (her Sunrise), in Dillonvale, Ohio to parents Edward and Helen Olzeski passed away peacefully April 9, 2019 (her Sunset) in Escondido, California. She was one of eight children, and was the last living child from the Olzeski household. Her parents had the following children: Eddie, Nuns Antonio & Benedict, Paul, Genevieve, Martha, and Tommy. She moved to San Diego in 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger A. Long in April 1994. They had moved to a ranch style home for the purpose of raising Thoroughbred horses, they named it Rancho Long Acres. She enjoyed her role as a Homemaker, and was diligent at getting all of her work done, a trait that she learned from her Mother. She enjoyed baseball, whether it was watching her son play Little League or watching the San Diego Padres. She volunteered to hold local elections and took great pride in the fact that all ballots were in and delivered on time. She loved looking at the clouds and watched every sunset that she could. She enjoyed spending time with her Granddaughters, as you could just see the joy in her eyes when she was with them. She broke her hip in 2013 and was in recovery when she broke her other hip and after recovery lived under the care of Life Care of Escondido. She made numerous friends while there, and was known for her vocabulary that included "Grande", "ya cie kocham", and "sayonara Joe".
She is survived by her son and his wife, Robert and Tamie Long , her Grandchildren; Kristina and husband Robert Brady, Cortney and husband Patrick Techakanokboon, her 2 Great Grandchildren; Jacob and Brooke Brady, and 3 Stepchildren, Carolyn Long, Gayle Roberts, Richard and wife Leslie Long, and their son Taylor.
A Celebration of her life will be held 11:30am, Saturday May 4th at 2730 Verda, Escondido, California.
