She was born to Willard and Rose (Ohlerking) Fish on October 16,1927, in Sioux City, Iowa. On June 16, 1946, Betty Rose Marie (Fish) wedded Warren G Wall and enjoyed 74 loving years together. They raised their 2 sons and 2 daughters in Sioux City. Betty was a loving mother and home maker as well as being very active in their church singing in choir and special events. Always preparing lovely dinners for friends and family on the holidays.
She was an accomplished seamstress always sewing beautiful clothes for herself and her daughters, taking that talent to Stevenson’s women’s clothing store as a professional seamstress, but her claim to fame was her own personal business of sewing wedding dresses, ball gowns, etc. for the local people of Sioux City, Iowa. Betty had such an artistic gift that her sewing talent soon turned to art work. She has painted many beautiful paintings including a special one of her parents making homemade ice cream in their old farm home. Betty never wanted to miss a moment to share her faith and was often found praising her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Betty stood on 2 particular verses in the Bible which gave her great strength , 1st Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you. Also Nehemiah 8:10 For the joy of the Lord is your strength! Amen.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Warren, her father and mother, her sisters, Evelyn Baker, Marjorie Amick, brother, Leo (Marg) Fish, Joanne Mize and her great grandson, Logan.
