Many things can be said about Ms. Cora Van Wormer. She was a WW2 Veteran, who served in the United States Coast Guard Honorably. She was an Aerospace Professional who helped defend America during the Cold War Era. She was a Single Mother who raised an Only Son, Dale Smith without supports. She was a Grandmother of three children, and a Great-grandmother of Two children. Her outlook on life was like her Tennessee background. She sang and joked until people started laughing. She was loved by all. Survived by her only Son Dale and Daughter in law Tatiana Smith. She died in San Diego on January 11, 2022 peacefully at age 98. We shall miss her.
