He was preceded in death by his father, David Elby Sr., mother, Stella Elby, and wife, Ellen Ann Elby.
Dave is survived by his daughter: Gayle (Lewis) Cohen, son: David Elby III, granddaughter: Nicole Cohen, brother-in-law: Robert Smith, sister: Madeline Dawson, relatives, and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 at 10:00 am at Eternal Hills Mortuary followed by a graveside service at 10:30 am at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
Mr. Elby Jr's final resting place will Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
