Born in Nagasaki, Japan she was the daughter of Otosabo and Kaio Matsunaga. She enjoyed bowling, painting, singing, dancing and BINGO! She married Joaquin, a US Marine in 1956 and traveled many places while raising a family.
She is survived by her son John Ulloa, daughter-in-law Margaret Ulloa of Barstow, Ca., her daughter Amanda Cevallos, son-in-law Carlos Cevallos of Oceanside, Ca., grandchildren John Ulloa, Lori (Justin) Crooks of Fort Worth, Texas, Carlos Cevallos of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jessica (Bryan) Schoeppner of Charleston, South Carolina, great grandchildren Iris, Adyn, Briella and Colson. Eiko is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband and son Joseph Ulloa. Eiko will be remembered as a vivacious, smiling, singing and dancing BINGO Queen, most of all a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She will be laid to rest with her loving husband Joaquin on June 15, 2020 at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Due to Covid, no graveside services will be allowed.
