Elena was born on October 13th, 1947 to Carmen and Clodomiro in Cuba. After graduating from Carlos J. Finlay High School she went to study Philosophy at the University of Havana where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and became a Philosophy Professor teaching college students in the first year of Medical School Calixto García Medical Ethics and Philosophy for over 30 years.
Elena is remembered by her family, friends and students as a happy, loving and giving woman. She was warm-hearted, and organized in all the things she sought to accomplish. Elena will be missed by all those left behind, but always reminding us to be happy and cherish life.
On June 12th, 2023, a service for friends and family will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park located at 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054.
