Elisabeth Ilse Zieba, age 90, formerly of N. Miami Beach, FL, passed away on December 21, 2021. Elisabeth was born May 20, 1931 in Germany to Maria and William Gulbis. As a WWII survivor, she was sponsored and immigrating to the USA with a 6th grade education and $5 in her pocket. She worked hard and went to night school to learn the English language. Elisabeth then met her future husband, Stanley Zieba and subsequently moved to Florida. She established herself as a successful interior decorator/manufacturer and business woman in south Florida.
After retiring, Elisabeth moved to San Diego, CA to join her daughters. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and always had a project around the house. She is survived by her sister, Klara Kreuer (Bernhard); brother, Gunter Gulbis; children, Erika Zieba and Cecilia Zieba; grandchildren, Jericho, Ariel Diaz and Gabriella Diaz and great grandson, Xyrin.
