Eliseo L. Ramirez was born in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico on December 15, 1922. At the age of 3, he migrated to the United States with his mother, Maria Mendoza, where she then married Hilario Ramirez.
In January 1943, Eliseo joined the United States Army and served in New Guinea Southern Philippines. On May 2, 1948, he married Tommie Hernandez.
He was a local resident of Eden Gardens (Solana Beach) until 1969 where he then moved to Cardiff-by-the-Sea. He was known by many as “Alissio”, “Lisio”, or “Tio Poy”.
He is survived by his wife Tommie; three children, Michael, Yolanda and Jim; 3 grandchildren, Richard, Vanessa and James.
A funeral will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at North Coast Fellowship in Solana Beach, California.
Eliseo final resting place will be Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California.
