Flora Xiao. Fighter, mother, daughter, sister, hero. When most people think of her, they think of a beautiful, elegant, classy woman who is picky but has the right to be so. She is a woman who knows what she wants and does everything within her means to achieve her goals.
Flora was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at a young age. The diagnosis was a shock to everyone, especially Flora, but she did not let it stand in the way of her success. She refused to take sick leave and worked while her companion and brother took her to see doctors on the weekend. During chemotherapy, Flora would not only close seemingly-impossible deals with customer companies but find time to go to her daughter’s band concerts.
Despite the pain it caused her physically, Flora fought tooth and nail to continue a successful life and to see her daughter go to college. Her trips to the doctor became more frequent but she nonetheless persevered. Even when she passed away, she fought to stay present until her parents and brother arrived at the hospital. Flora was able to not only meet but exceed all the goals she set and can now rest in peace knowing she met them all. She is a miracle and we will always remember her as such a heroine.
