

Francis (Frank) Robert DeMartino was born on March 20, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York. He entered into rest on April 10, 2012 in Oceanside, California. While growing up in Queens, New York he received a young college scholarship for baseball, he also had a Master's degree in History that he received from the University of La Verne and worked as a high school counselor for Santa Barbara School District for 30 years. Frank enlisted in the Army at Fort Lewis, Washington, if you had a chance to know him you would say he was a sweet, thoughtful, kind, and a funny person who loved to read, watch college basketball, and play golf.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Noreen Ann DeMartino from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and his parents, Francis John De Martino and Helen Frances Collins of Brooklyn New York.
Frank is survived by his wife, Nancy DeMartino, daughter, Joy Allison DeMartino, son, Steven Francis DeMartino, daughter, Patricia Ann DeMartino, grandson, Jacob Anthony Robert Cline, son, Daniel Patrick DeMartino, step daughter, Kerri Beth Bodemer, step son, Steven Charles (Jeanette) Neu, four step grandchildren, brother, Phillip James DeMartino, sister in law, Mary DeMartino, sister, Mary Ellen Calabrese, brother-in-law, Vincent Calabrese, sister, Sue Ann Kalin, brother-in-law, Rodger Kalin, relatives, and many friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 7:00 pm officiated by Deacon Dale Fickes at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carlsbad, California.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 officiated by Father Don Coleman at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carlsbad, California.
There will be a reception to follow service at church.
