Guadalupe Rivera Valadez

Guadalupe Rivera Valadez of Vista, CA passed away on March 17th, 2026 at the age 82. She was born on March 27th, 1943, in San Diego, CA to Isabel M. Rivera and Porfirio C. Rivera. Guadalupe was a homemaker most of her life. Her passion was taking care of her husband Gilbert, her children, grandchildren and her daycare children too. She loved to cook delicious homemade meals for her family and friends. She loved God and she loved people and effortlessly made them feel welcomed. She was well known for wearing her red lipstick, her beautiful personality and her rock ‘n’ roll dance moves that she and her husband Gilbert “Frenchy” Valadez danced to at family gatherings.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her father and mother Porfirio and Isabel Rivera, grandson Jakob Valadez and son Jesse Valadez.

A viewing will be held at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, California 92054, on April 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Vigil/Rosary at the same location on April 15, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Mass will be held at St Patrick Catholic Church, 3821 Adams St, Carlsbad, CA 92008, US, on April 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Final resting will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, on April 16, 2026.
